Hi there! 👋
I am currently serving as a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. If you are seeking any form of academic cooperation, please feel free to email me at x.xin@polyu.edu.hk or xu-david.xin@connect.polyu.hk.
I graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Supervisor: Prof. Shuaian Wang) & Tongji University (Supervisor: Prof. Xiaoli Wang), earning two PhD degrees. I also collaborate with Prof. Zhongzhen Yang, Prof. Kang Chen and Mr. Tao Zhang closely.
So far, I have published 40+ SCI/SSCI indexed papers with
and H-index 21 at the top international journals such as TR-Part B, TR-Part C, TR-Part E, COR, and IJPR.
My research interest includes:
- Port management (e.g., berth allocation, berth allocation and quay crane assignment)
- Shipping management (e.g., liner shipping network design, vessel scheduling)
- Transportation and logistics system optimization (e.g., electric vehicle transportation network design, flow shop scheduling)
- Emergency management (e.g., humanitarian logistics network design)
